The Bowdoinham Post Office is once again participating in the national Letter Carriers’ Food Drive. The event is always held on Mother’s Day weekend which means it is THIS SATURDAY. To make a donation, please leave a bag of non-perishable food by your mailbox and they will pick it up. Food collected will go to the Bowdoinham Food Pantry and the Bowdoin Food Bank.
Items needed include peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, macaroni and cheese, juice, canned fruits and vegetables, oatmeal, snack items for school lunch boxes and pasta. The BHM Food Pantry runs purely from donations, and your donations make a difference! Please share this post with others in town to help get the word out.
