The Bowdoinham Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 4-6pm. ALL Bowdoin and Bowdoinham residents are welcome at the pantry, no income verification required! We are located down by the waterfront, next to the Art Center. The Pantry is here for Bowdoinham and Bowdoin residents. If you are in need of a little extra help with groceries, a variety of personal items and more, we encourage you to come see us. We occasionally offer hot soups in the winter months, and a variety of fresh vegetables when available. The only requirement for you to become a client is that you live in Bowdoinham or Bowdoin. We are here to help.

We are committed to keeping the pantry open to serve all of the people who need food assistance in a way that is safe for our clients and for our volunteers.
The Bowdoinham Food Pantry will be open this Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In order to continue our efforts to keep everyone safe, beginning this week and until further notice, we will be offering pre-packed boxes (or bags) of food to ensure a safe physical distance.
- Please stay in your vehicle the entire time.
- Pull all the way into the boat launch parking lot, turn around and drive your car up to the side of the building where you will see volunteers.
- Look at the posted sign to see what we have included in your box of food. If there are any items that you DO NOT need, any dietary restrictions you have, or special items that you need, please tell the volunteer at this time.
- The volunteer will make any necessary adjustments to the box and place it in the trunk of your vehicle. Again, please do not get out of your vehicle.
The food available to us changes each week, please know that we are doing the best we can to serve you. We will try to include a variety of items in your food box and may even have menu suggestions.
Thank you for patience and understanding. See you Wednesday!
